Curious about the work that we do with our horses? Book a session where Joel will demonstrate his training methods. Natural Horsemanship style training is quiet & calm, and built on trust and communication. You get to watch the horses respond to his gentle cues, ask questions about the process, and see how all of our horses are trained.

A relaxed, guided tour where you can see all of the pens, hear the stories of the animals, see the barn, walk to the Homestead Meadow to see the original cabins on the property, and hike as much of the acreage as you are up for!

We will introduce you to each of our current rescue horses. Hear their stories of where they came from, what hurdles we are working through with each of them, how they are doing in their recovery, and what we envision for their future.

The cows love “Cattle Cookies” which are a mineral and protein rich treat. We can provide a bucket full of cookies and your group can feed them to the cows. Feeding will take place from the safety of outside the fence, as they will literally run you down for cookies if you are in the pen with them. It is a fun, family friendly activity!

Do you want even more of a chance to bond with the cows? We can put them in the fenced yard of the house for the night. You can hang out with them, pet them, and have them right outside your windows.

$50.00 per night
*not available if you have pets in the house.

Kids can be led around for a brief horseback experience. Participants must be able to balance on the saddle on their own. We will lead the horse in circles and patterns at a walk only. Helmets are not provided and parent’s must sign a release waiver. For insurance reasons, we cannot not allow guests to control the horse on their own, or go faster than a walk.

Our ranch faces West and we get treated to some incredible sunsets. Take a short hike to the beautiful Homestead Meadow where we will have chairs, some small appetizers, and some beverages all set up and waiting for you to enjoy.
